Swimming pool

Work in progress. We update this page as we go.
Season
The pool is in use from May to September. Outside that window it's covered and not heated.
In season
- Water is typically kept at 20-25 °C.
- The cover stays on when nobody's swimming — it holds heat and saves power
- Norwegian Law requires pool to be closed. Call us if you want 24/7 open pool.
- The cover opens and closes manually.
Safety
- Don't leave children unattended near the pool, even with the cover on.
- If you want to dive in, check the shallowest depth first.
- The area around the edge gets slippery after rain.
What can vary
- Hot spell → water may be above target temperature.
- Heavy rain or wind → cover may have water or leaves on it. We clear it between stays.
- Greasy surface = usually sunscreen. Skim once with the net and it's mostly gone.
If the pump or heat stops
Flag it in chat anyway — a second signal never hurts.
